Jackson Pollock number 20. So much smaller than the Pollock hanging the the Portland art museum, but somehow much more expressive. Makes me think of dancing. #jacksonpollock #pollock #art #seattleartmuseum #sam #

2. Dip fingernail in alcohol-basically any will do, vodka is suggested.
3. Press a strip of newspaper big enough to cover the whole nail on to your alcohol soaked nail.

Cutting to the chase I am doing a project for my art class that requires me to do a piece that is 60ftx1ft long.
60 feet is a HUGE size.
Long story short, I need your URLs, and if you reblog/like this post I will write your URL down on my piece.
I NEED 60 FEET OF URLS AND I HAVE SMALL HANDWRITING. PLEASE REBLOG FOR ONE REASON, AND ONE REASON ONLY:

Sometimes I receive those messages where somebody says stuff like “omg, your paintings are great, they make me want to quit drawing/painting, because my stuff sucks in comparison to yours” or something. I know they are supposed to be flattering, but they actually make me sad, because neither I think that my stuff is great nor I want to put anybody down. Although I’ve been through phase “that’s it, I’ll never touch a pencil again” when I saw some incredible piece of artwork on the web, but currently I prefer the attitude “that’s inspiring, it makes me want to do something as awesome as that”.
So, to all fellow painters and drawing artists, illustrators etc., who think they are not good enough and want to quit. Read this thing and memorize it :) For your own good.
